My past time at back yard

The back yard of my wooden house was quite spacious with a Maggo Tree and COCO Tree. Anyway, that was not the reason why my sis and I spend most of the time loitering there in the evening.

Kampung Chicken! That's the attraction. ha.....know how many of them? I used to count before. But it won't be accurate since they were not locked in cage. Almost 40 I guess. We like to loiter here and there, chasing the hens, catching their little chicks.... Anyway, beware of the hens when u do so, coz she shall follow u until u return her chicks.

We named some of the good looking chicken as batman, butterfly and tiger. I can still recall one "Mad" hen. We called it "So Gai". It's not nice and looks so "kusut masai". It's head was always senget one. But, she was so kind enough to help hatching other hens' eggs.

Kampung Eggs, was our mission. We did found lots of fresh eggs for our meals. Yummy.....There's also some hen who simply lay on a bundle of half way-hatched eggs. Causing us to become a "Chicks to be" killer.

Sometimes, instead of giving mom all the fresh eggs, we played masak-masak at the back yard. Firstly, we get two bricks to form as a stand for a steel bowl (Our doggie - Ah Wong's plate bowl). Then, I tooked some newspapers and a box of mancis from the house. We started to cook the eggs after all. In order to enhance the taste and more presentable, we add in different kinds of leaves and little flowers onto the eggs. That's all....our first dish. Not so bad.

"Ah Wong, you better finish all this o...... :P"
